Indoor paintball is a high-action team sport consisting of players shooting “paintballs” at each other to obtain an objective.
In existence since the mid 1960’s, the sport of paintball has become recognized as one of the world’s most exciting participation sports which can be played by almost all ages, 10 years old to 70 years old. Paintball is played in different countries by millions of men and women of all ages and lifestyles. Whether a housewife or high school student, a professional or a retiree, all paintball players share a common love for a true adventure in an adrenaline packed atmosphere! At BattlegroundZ, we use reusable silicon paintballs so you stay clean!
How to Play
Ages 10+. Players shoot reusable silicone “paintballs” at each other while trying to attain an objective. When a player is hit with a paintball on his body or equipment, he is out and must head to the respawn point. All games at BattlegroundZ use respawn rules so re-entry time is immediate after 10 seconds spent at the respawn point. The most basic game consists of two teams trying to eliminate the other team’s members by “marking” all of the opposing team members out with their markers while striving to get their own flag to the opposing team’s base to a claim a victory.

Paintballs can cause welts and bruises depending on the spot on your body the ball hits. Pain depends on how much padding or protection you wear. If you are only dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, expect small bruises that will fade in a few days, while a sweatshirt or other thick clothing will usually prevent bruising.
For Your Safety
A waiver must be completed to participate in this game. Prior to entering the arena, a staff member will escort you to our safety briefing area where you will watch a 4 minute video, listen to a thorough explanation of the game rules, and learn about arena safety and how to use the equipment. Any questions or concerns will be answered during the safety briefing.
Only ANSI-certified paintball facemask/goggles permitted. Barrel Bags are required when you are bringing in your own gun. (If you do not have one, you will be required to purchase one.) All markers must be transported to and from the arena in bag/case designed to carry it. All weapons must be tagged and chronographed before they may be used in play.
About Our Arena
BattlegroundZ offers a Speedball experience. Our new turf covered field is comprised of bunker obstacles placed in various configurations to challenge players. The same number of bunkers are on each side of the field, therefore providing an equal playing field for each team competing. There is very little to blend in with and take cover on a speedball field, the success of winning is dependent upon teamwork, aggressive movement, and constant communication.
Why Reusable Paintballs vs. Standard Paintballs?
The reason we use reusable silicone balls is…cleanliness! They fly the same, and feel the same as a paintball that has bounced. You will still go home worn out after a great time, but you will not need a change of clothing to sit in your car! If you have ever played at a standard indoor paintball field, you know exactly what we mean!
